This is your chance to bring your ideas to the table and re-invent Retail during a challenging graduation internship. This internship gives you a sneak preview of the Retail Banking Leadership Programme ING offers to talented Master graduates.

What will the future look like? Will mobile phone banking become the next big thing? Will internet entirely replace traditional banking offices? The Retail Banking Leadership Programme provides you with a clean sheet. Together we are about to write a challenging chapter of our future: the merger of Postbank and ING Bank where easy banking meets expertise.

Assignment

The Marketing team “Students” exists of 4 marketers and a manager. In order to come up with a marketing strategy, they have to discover the students’ interests. Every summer ING launches a big marketing campaign for the students’ bank accounts, in order to attract new customers and strengthen ING’s image amongst students. During this period of time we have a big representation in the major student cities. As an intern, you will support the marketer with the organization of this campaign and you will also be responsible for some smaller projects. From the setup of the concept to the launch of the campaign, you will be involved throughout the whole process.

Profile

You have strong analytical skills and have a winning spirit. You are an innovative, conceptual thinker who thinks out-of-the-box and knows what’s going on in a complex market(ing) driven environment. You take initiative; are result driven and have a can-do mentality. You are eager to share your vision on developments in the retail field and you know how to get other people on board.

Besides this, there are a number of other requirements:

  • You are studying for a Masters degree at a Dutch university.
  • You will graduate within 14 months.
  • The internship falls within the period that you are registered at the university.
  • You are fluent in Dutch

Duration

  • 6 months (min. 3 days per week)

Conditions

We offer you a challenging internship position, professional guidance and a compensation of 450 euros per month.
