Retail Banking
Banking is part of everyone’s daily life. So
from personal experience you know what we do. And perhaps you know
how we could do even better.
This is your chance to bring your ideas to the table and re-invent
Retail during a challenging graduation internship. This internship
gives you a sneak preview of the Retail Banking Leadership
Programme ING offers to talented Master graduates.
What will the future look like? Will mobile phone banking become
the next big thing? Will internet entirely replace traditional
banking offices? The Retail Banking Leadership Programme provides
you with a clean sheet. Together we are about to write a
challenging chapter of our future: the merger of Postbank and ING
Bank where easy banking meets expertise.
Assignment
The Marketing team “Students” exists of 4
marketers and a manager. In order to come up with a marketing
strategy, they have to discover the students’ interests. Every
summer ING launches a big marketing campaign for the students’ bank
accounts, in order to attract new customers and strengthen ING’s
image amongst students. During this period of time we have a big
representation in the major student cities. As an intern, you will
support the marketer with the organization of this campaign and you
will also be responsible for some smaller projects. From the setup
of the concept to the launch of the campaign, you will be involved
